Obtaining Documentation and Submitting a Service Request
The following release notes support Firmware Release 1.6.9 on the Cisco 500 Series WPAN Industrial Routers. These release notes are updated to describe new features, limitations, troubleshooting, recommended configurations, caveats, and how to obtain support and documentation.

Caveats describe unexpected behavior in Cisco IOS releases. Caveats listed as open in a prior release are carried forward to the next release as either open or closed (resolved).

txPower is always 30 regardless of cfg bin on IR509 and IR529.
Changing the DODAGID will not trigger store pan information.
The tlv 25 IPRouteRPLMetrics rank value is not correct.
There are no statistics for interface out packets in TLV24.
Get TLV 24 and there are no statistics for interface out packets. It always display 0 on lowpan. interface.
TLV19 interface settings for loopback and PPP can not be set to down.
No TLV on CGE can display the ieee154 phy mode info.
IR509 hangs when executing get tlv.
If a DAGW loses its parent, it can take around 2hrs for the DAGW to change its parent to another available within acceptable range.
Upgrading IR529 via FND fails, but upgrading IR509 works as expected.
