The commitment to Team Brazil goes far beyond Rio 2016. In fact, we are partnering with the Brazilian Olympic Committee (BOC) to provide cutting-edge technology that will overhaul sports management and provide a blueprint for upgrading networking power across the country.
In the short term, faster, more agile connections between the BOC and other national Olympic committees will enable faster communications and better collaboration. Challenges can also be addressed quickly and with less travel and expense.
Long term, we see Team Brazil’s potential to become a top medals contender as soon as Tokyo 2020. By building a faster and more secure smart infrastructure, we will help the team optimize training by bringing together in meaningful ways the coaches, trainers and athletes—many of whom are located far distances from one another.
In addition, new athletes, representing many sports and disciplines, will have access to the caliber of coaching and mentorship needed to compete at the international level.
