This page allows you to set up and manage the security features.
This page is only used when VLANs are disabled. To enable the security
features, you must go to the User Information
page and create a user with Administrator, Identity, Firmware, and
Write capabilities.
Settings
Login
Displays the Login window, where the user can log in if he or
she hasn't done so already. This Login link is the same as the Login
link that appears at the bottom of every page.
User Manager
Use the User Manager link
to enable or disable the security features.
Change Current User Password
Displays the User Information
window. The User Information window also displays the user's assigned
capabilities.
To change your password, type your existing password in the old
password field. Type your new password in the new password field,
and retype it in the confirm password field. Click Apply.
User Information
Use the User Information link
to add users to the system, remove users from the system, and assign
user capabilities. To enable system user-level security, use this
link to add a user with administrator, Identity, Firmware, and Write
capabilities, and then go to the User
Manager screen to enable the security features.
Authentication Server
Use the Authentication
Server link if you need to enter the authentication settings.
VLAN Setup
This link takes you to the VLAN
Setup page where you set radio data encryption for VLANs on
the access point. The VLANs must be enabled to use this link, otherwise
use the Radio Data Encryption
(WEP) page.
Radio Data Encryption (WEP)
This link takes you to the Radio
Data Encryption page, where you can set up to four data encryption
keys and enable WEP.
